Summer is winding down and pretty much the only thing getting me through this sad realization is the insane amount of sage that I currently have growing in my garden. I think it was a mix of the humidity and heavier-than-normal rainfall that encouraged my sage bush to explode and nearly take over the whole plot. In any case, I really couldn’t be happier. Sage has always been my favorite herb for its heavenly aromatic healing properties, and I’ve found that the making of smudge bundles is even more therapeutic than the actual burning of them for home cleansing.
If you have a garden or plan to next summer, be sure to include sage in your plot and be sure to give it plenty of room to flourish.
