There’s something exotic about Scout & Catalogue textiles. Each piece of fabric has a unique story to tell, ripe with adventure. This nomadic sensibility is an honest one; owner Breanna Musgrove started her company organically in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico through experimentation inspired by the gorgeous landscape and vibe that surrounded her at the time. Rich coastal colors, and fluid prints effortlessly translate onto S&C’s array of print fibers.
Now living in Canada, a stark contrast to the dreamy Mexican aesthetic, Musgrove remains true to the authenticity that launched her company. Most of the materials are sourced locally in Canada, while all of the dyed pieces are done by hand in her Vancouver studio. Though several thousand miles away from where inspiration took hold, it’s clear that latitude and longitude are irrelevant in what inspires your heart (and hand).
